Firewood

Firewood is pieces of wood material, usually round, that are used as fuel for heating.
Wood is one of the oldest and most traditional sources of heat and is used as fuel in fireplaces, stoves, fires and other heating devices.

For firewood to burn efficiently and safely, it must be properly prepared and stored in a dry place.
Typically, firewood is cut or sawn from trees, then the wood is dried to reduce its moisture content.
Dry wood usually burns better and produces less smoke.

Wood can be used as the main fuel or in combination with other fuels such as charcoal or briquettes to achieve the desired temperature and burning time.
They are also often used to create atmosphere and coziness in rooms due to the crackling sound of fire and the woody aroma they release when burning.
